Well...this weekend I made a layout using up some old scraps of mine. It turned out pretty good...one of my favorites so far that I've done. Anyways, I decided to send it in to the manufacturer (Basic Grey) and see if it was worth enough to go into their "gallery" online. Well, got an email today about the page I had and they want to put it in the gallery!!! TOOT TOOT!!! I was sooo excited to get the response back so quickly! Here is the layout:

Now, for today...did some last minute shopping for our camping trip. I'm getting excited and a little nervous...just because it's a new place that I haven't been before. And I'm also nervous because I don't want the kids to catch a cold or get hurt while we are away!

Anywho...hopefully the next time I blog it'll be after our trip! Toodles!

The cherries are coming, the cherries are coming!

Does anyone know what this is?

My SIL and I got one of these...geez...help me out here Andrea...about 1.5 years ago was it?? We were at a really neat kitchen store near her house and HAD to get this. We just LOVE cherries...kitchen gadgets are so neat!! The reason why I post this picture is b/c I got a grocery ad in the mail and saw that cherries are back!! YUM...it's summer already!!! I can't wait to buy my first bunch of strawberries...the girls love them too. (really...just want to use my gadget! heehee)

Well, Neal's been on vacation since Saturday and we've been laying low. Getting anxious for our camping trip this coming weekend. Trying to get last minute things (he's out getting a helmet for Sydney!) and waiting for a part to come in for our Excursion...RRRRR!!! Thank goodness he and Lindey noticed something wrong with the bracket connected to the front axel!! It just stinks that it's the week of our journey. Will the part come in on time? If it does, will it be fixed on time? PLAN B???

Other than that, the kids, Neal and I are getting the sniffles...do you see signs here for us not to go?? WE'RE STILL GOING!!

The other night I was working on scrap stuff (as usual) and Neal was on the computer. He looked over at what I was doing and he asked if that's all ya do...start with paper and work from there. So he got a wild hair and said he was going to make a page! WHAT?!! Cool I thought. He did pretty good too, I will say. Pretty impressed. After about an hour of working on his masterpiece here is what came about:

I wish I had a pix of Colton too, but didn't have one for him to use. He could always add to this layout or just do another one!! ;) I will definately be looking into a 12x12 frame for this and putting it in my scraproom!!

Well, little man just woke up...gotta get my cutie!

Got Milk?

Well, this post is a couple of days late. I usually take a picture each month of my kids 1st year of life so I can document it in their scrapbooks. Well...I tell ya, Colton knows when that funny looking gray box comes at him with a red light that's mesmerizing! He has a smile or wiggles and then when the light appears...a deer in the headlights look comes upon him!! It's so hard to get a picture of this smiley baby...and that he definately is!!

Well, I was manning my scrap message board with him in my lap, kicking at the roll out that holds the keyboard...he's pretty strong...pushes the keyboard under the table sometimes if I'm not careful...anyways, he decides he needs to show me what he just ate!! Well, I turn him around to wipe his face and this thought came to mind...

GOT MILK? So of course I had to take a picture of the little guy (sorry if the thought of my milk on his face bothers you!)

See, told ya...a deer in the headlights!!

Well, then I remembered...you're 3 months today!! So I wipe his face and take him out to the family room where I took his picture. What a cutie patootie...all wiggly. Like his onesie? Mr. February, something I made before he was born!!

Well, that was Wednesday. Friday my niece came over after dinner so we could go over what we needed to bring on our RV/4wheelin mini vacation this coming weekend. I sooo can't wait. It's going to be interesting getting 8, no 9, well...8 1/4 people into a travel trailer!! It'll be fun and the kids will remember the fun we will be having.

Yesterday she and I went shopping for the trip. What should have taken 2 hours lasted 4 hours and Colton did really well shopping with us! I am sooo done shopping at Walmart...for at least a week anyways! I hope time goes by quickly this week though. I still need to make my list of what I need to bring and pack for everyone. How is it the mom packs everything? And then when you forget something, mom is the one that gets blamed? I swear...pack your own crap!! Anywho...

My site had it's first Guest Design Team call and we had a few submissions. My partner in crime and I have picked our GDT, but we can't say who we picked until the 20th!! heehee We had some good layouts turned in...can't wait to see what our GDT creates with the goodies coming to her from CREATEMYKEEPSAKES.COM!!

Well...until next time...

Fun-filled, tiring weekend

This weekend went by too fast for all of us! It was so much fun...not enough sleep that's for sure!

Saturday Amy and Rob came over early to watch Colt for us while we (my niece and her family) took the boat out for a couple of hours. It's hard to say "just for a couple of hours" when you're talking about the boat. The time came and gone too quickly. The kids had so much fun though and that's all that mattered. The weather was beautiful too! After 5 hours on the water it was time to head in with our sunburnt shoulders. I was ready anyways to get back to my little man (nursing was calling too!)

Colton had so much fun, just smiling the entire time for Rob and Amy...they are going to make AWESOME parents! Can't wait till the end of November till their little bundle comes out to play!!! :)

Well, they left and my niece and her fam...her name is Colleen, stayed over swimming and just hanging out...our usual weekend thing. Just hanging out eating, joking and watching the kids make their own memories. We watched a movie while the kids watched theirs and fell asleep to Cinderella in the office...great picture!
Notice Sydney never made it out of her Princess outfit!

The next day, Mother's Day, was good. It started out as a very quiet morning!! I asked for one thing...for everyone to sleep in FOR ONCE!!! Well...wish was granted!! With the exception of Colton waking me up at 7am...but I won't complain. He kept me company for about an hour and a half and then was off to nappyland! I got to play on the computer with my website and just reading up on emails. Then at 10am, the first one woke up...Morgan. Then later followed Sydney and Neal. I was glad because I was getting a bit hungry....they were supposed to make me breakfast. My stomach was starting to eat my backbone!! Shhh...don't tell them, I snuck an apple in before they woke up!!

The pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream where AWESOME!!! YUM-O! MMMM!! Thanks girlies and hubby!! Love ya! Sydney looks so into the pancake making here!! heehee She was monitoring for the "bubbles" in the pancakes!

Opened up some cards that the girls made me...some scrappers in the making...and a present from my folks. Gotta love em.

Then Neal and I decided to go window shopping for patio furniture...everywhere! Headed to Home Depot and then stopped at his parents for a little and dragged them with us to do more window shopping. After 3 stores we decided to take them out to dinner.

It was a good day...good weekend. Can't wait for the next! Only a week and a half till our mini vacation 4wheelin'/camping in Georgia...WOOHOO!!

Gotta add a pix of Colton during all this this weekend...what a cutie-patootie!!

What's going on at my site?!!

WOW...I sure am glad that NSD weekend is over! I had tons of fun chatting with my girls on my site and seeing some awesome creations! I even got a tiny bit of scrapping done after "manning" the boards and not having a "mommy-free" weekend like I was supposed to...ERRR!!!

Here are the creations that I DID get to complete. There are some awesome challenges from April (by girl) that I didn't get to tackle yet...but have the ideas stashed back in the cobwebs of my brain!

Here are some cards that I made also this weekend:

There is so much going on over at the site. You should stop by and say hi and check out the challenges that we have going on. We also have what's called our SCRAPPY VENTURE!! Lots of tips on keeping your scrap space organized. OH...and there is one more thing...there is a Guest DT call for June!! We are on PageMaps (the contest section) and at PubCalls for the details. OR you could just check us out at: www.mosyscrapper.forumakers.com

Well...gotta go keep house. I've neglected it for a week trying to organize the crop and scrap some this weekend. Laundry calls...BLAH!!

Scrap busy

Well...what's been going on for the past week or 2? Lots of planning for my message board's very first Cyber Crop!! I'm excited and nervous at the same time!! April and I have been working on challenges, looking for RAK, and just the planning! It has been fun IMing each other and finally hearing each other's voice on the phone! I haven't really scrapped...well, I've worked on the projects and in fact I still need to get one more done!! My scrap area is a total reck and well...I need some Calgon...I plan to do that after the crop and sleep!!! Just glad that DH is so willing to watch the kids (minus Colt) for the weekend. I'll be sure to take some pix of Colton hanging out with Mommy in the scrap room!

Speaking of pictures...I took some pix of the kids the other day and here is one that I'm glad I captured...

Colton is doing really well...always having something to say and not much crying. The girls are just loving up on him and he's milking it too!

Well...here is a link to my message board in case you have nothing scrappy to do this Friday thru Sunday!! http://themosyscrapper.forumakers.com We'd love for you to join us!!

Here ye, here ye!

Okay, just wanted to say that! LOL Well, Colton turned 2 months the other day...sniffle...he's getting big! Here is his pix (he's so gonna love this in 15 years...heehee He got his first round of shots on Monday and has been sleeping a lot, well until this afternoon. And that was when I needed him to sleep the most! WHY? Well, we got some new furniture for our bedroom and the girls got a bunkbed. They were so happy! I'll be happy once all the toys are put back in their room, the clothes away where they are supposed to be and life can go on as normal!! Today was just not the day for all that to work out! ERRR There's always tomorrow! Well, I've been meaning to upload this video of Colt talking, but kept forgetting. This was him 2 weeks ago. Wish I had the video my SIL got of him, but there will be more.

Calling all popcorn kernel's...stay away from SYDNEY!

Well, last night was movie night for the girls and they chose FREE WILLY. Do you know how old that movie is? I couldn't believe it when I saw the date...the movie is 15 years old!! WOW...times is going by way too fast!

Anyways, I can't remember if I posted back in November last year of our little circus with Sydney and the famous toilet paper that was stuck up her nose incident but you would think the kid would have learned her lesson!!! Well, during the movie last night they had their usual popcorn and juice and she comes to me in the office and says, "mommy...my nose hurts!" She raises her head up to show me inside her nose and I said, "what did you do now?" She said that she had popcorn stuck up her nose. Oh for heaven sakes kid! I was like "didn't you learn your lesson the last time?" She just said she forgot about it! FORGOT ABOUT IT?! This time I didn't panic, I just had her blow her brains out until it came out...thankfully it did after 5 minutes of nose torture and here is the poor little kernel
Aren't you glad I had a pix of it?!! heehee I couldn't resist...my camera was sitting on my desk in front of me!

And this is what Colton felt like this morning
After a long nap, some milk and some lovin' he's all better now.

Not doing much today. Just looking over my emails, my blog and message board. Getting some scrapping done, but can't show (it's for the upcoming online crop...I can't wait) and that's all. Morgan had a play date this morning and Neal is doing what's on his "honey do list". I guess he's having a 'guys nite out' tonite...that's fine with me! I'll have a "mommy scraps tonite' nite! ;)

Well, have a great weekend!

Scrap busy

I am loving my new line up I have for my music list!! Finally fixed it late last night!

Well, not much going on really, just the everyday usual. I think I'm finally done with the mountains of laundry. Only to start back up again on Monday! UGH! I've been working on my scrap site trying to get things together for our GRAND OPENING weekend crop! I can't wait. I've already got a line up of some of the fun things that we will be doing. I worked on a project last night and finished it. Started another...lots of scrapping going on! I'M LOVIN' IT!! Going to the scrap store next week to finalize my list of what I need to do for it...can't wait to see all the new yummy papers in person too!

I did a LO for myself this week as well...this was what I thought off when driving back home from the Scrapbook Expo a couple of weeks ago. Just glad that my pix came in and that I was able to keep this vision in my head with the many crazy things stirring up inside there!

Can't believe that this little booger is going to be 2 months next Tuesday. YIKES! He also goes in for his first set of shots...OUCH!! I'm sure I'll post about it!

Nothing fun and exciting going on this weekend coming up...that I know of. Taxes still need to get done (way to go hubby!), yardwork (MAJOR UGH!) and fixing up the master and girls rooms. OH...forgot...duh!! DH got us a bedroom set (finally after 8 years) and the girls bedroom set the other day. They'll be delivered on Wednesday. I'm soo looking forward to it! The only thing is, I'm not looking forward emptying everything before the delivery guys get there. PLUS, we're keeping it a secret from the girls b/c they've been wanting a bunkbed and well...they're getting one! I just hope that bedtime rituals won't change! BUT I'M SURE THEY WILL. ERR!

Well, going to finish up my scrappy projects!

Soap go bye-bye

Here is my little cutie patutie on Thursday when we were at my SIL! He is such an angel...just talking and smiling. Well, at least he was doing that b/c he didn't want to take his naps that day or the day before. And the ride home showed it!! Not only did it pour down rain for the 2 hour drive, my oldest was crying b/c she had some growing pains in her ankle and the radio was blaring...he cried 3/4 of the way home...and there was nothing we could do about it. BUT he did sleep from 9-5 that night...so that was a good thing! Today he was back on schedule and still talking and smiling!

As for my other 2 rugrats...well, have you ever wondered what happened to that full bottle of shampoo or bodywash? Take my 2 girls for instance...told them to go get an early shower so we could eat up and then watch a movie for movie nite tonite. They loved that idea...20 minutes later..."where's your sister?" I ask Morgan. "She's still in the shower." WHAT? WHY? I go looking in on her and she scrubbing the floor which is filled with bubbles. Then she hands me the bottle of shampoo (empty) and I ask, "did you wash your hair?" And I get a "yes, and MoMo used it all up!" Don't you just love how siblings are quick to point the finger on each other?

ERRR!!! Then I noticed my Bath & Body Cucumber Melon body wash was gone too!! I had only used up 1/4 full!! A 2nd ERRR!!!

They had a nice talking to (or should I say yell-fest) and then it was to the table to eat, brush their teeth and off to bed! They knew they did wrong and you could see the seriousness (is that a word?) in their faces! I didn't get any cries, whines or begging either. UGH...off to the store tomorrow to buy shampoo for my dirty head!

We have a monkey!

On Friday Morgan got a haircut (finally). She wanted it much shorter but her daddy and I was a little afraid of getting it cut too short. I think it looks much better on her now than it did with the longer hair.

Colton is growing!! He's such a little angel. I love looking at babies when they are sleeping so peacefully!
Today we went over to my inlaws for my DH's father's bday. My SIL and her family were there and the kids had a good visit. Morgan though woke up to a very sore throat and runny/stuffy nose and just achy!! GREAT!! At least she is on Spring Break, but still...not fun having a sicko in the house. Hopefully it's nothing bad, but the doctor will let us know tomorrow. Anyways...we go to my inlaws and she's pumped up with Motrin/Tylenol and of course she feels better, right? So much better that her cousin and her a playing frisbee outside and they get the frisbee stuck in a magnolia tree. Morgan decides to be a little monkey and climbed this tree...barefoot.

No, nothing bad happened. She just reached the top of the tree (Neal was at the bottom of the tree just in case). I swear she looked like a monkey!! Got some great shots of it. Also got a great shot of Colton smiling and trying to talk to me. Sydney wasn't in any pictures today...she was off with her other cousin playing dress up and acting! Another drama Queen!!

The weekend is finally over...back to the grind of chores, cooking, and taking care of a sick kiddo. I've been working on my scrap site and it's coming along. We have 15 members so far for the first week! You should go check it out and join http://themosyscrapper.forumakers.com/ we'd love to have ya!

Well, it's 2am and Colton should be waking up here shortly. Morgan just got some more meds and Sydney is wanting me to sleep with her...oh boy. Bet I'll be sick come this weekend...just watch!!

Thud...gash...ha-choo

Okay, so I'm a sap. I caught the last bit of Celebrity Apprentice the other night while nursing Colton and Trace Adkins was singing a song...I'm not a country music fan, but I started balling at this song he sang..."You're Gonna Miss this"...it's down on my playlist if you haven't heard it...go click on it! The lyrics hit me. I started thinking of my oldest daughter and how much she wants to grow up soo fast (and she's only 5!). Boohoohoo!! So, I liked the song so much I went to my playlist and linked it!

It's been an eventful couple of days. Friday my oldest got her hair cut...wow...it's actually cute short!! She likes it, but she wishes it could be shorter!! YIKES!

Saturday I went to the Scrapbook Expo in Orlando. It wasn't all that and a bag of chips, but at least I got to get out and do something by myself for myself (with Colton in tote). He was sooo good...slept the ride there, ate, slept the 2 hours I was there and 3/4 of the way back home!!! Then when I got home, DH was out with the girls and my niece's family so we all ordered Outback and went to my niece's house for the evening. The girls played while we veged and watched American Gangsta. Do you ever rent movies and the movie like pauses in mid frame and then starts again? Do you go get a new one and complain? Well, normally we do, but we sat and watched the entire thing!! NUTS I tell ya. The movie was long to begin with (and good), can you imagine every like 2 minutes the movie stopping/pausing!! Great for bathroom breaks...heehee! The girls stayed in a room watching their movie, playing, coloring and then at one point my oldest decides to go to the bathroom and THUD!! We heard a noise but didn't think anything of it...then out comes Morgan holding her head up and blood coming down her forehead. WHAT THE HECK!? She said she was throwing away the toilet paper roll and banged her head on the corner of the counter. HELLO!!! Nice gash on her forehead to show for it!! Luckily it stopped bleeding instantly. My heart dropped when I saw her in pain. To top it off...she was loosing her voice and started coughing when we arrived at my niece's...great...a cold during Spring Break!! I know what the week after Spring Break will yield...a house full of sick-os!! ERRRR!!!

Well, after the LONG movie we finally arrived home at 1am. The kids were all sleeping!! Didn't get a chance to check out my scrap site...which has 14 members now!!! See my previous blog to check it out!!

Today we are going to the inlaws to spend time with FIL (his bday is on Tuesday). My SIL and her fam will be there. Have a great rest of the weekend.

My dream coming alive

I can't believe 6 weeks ago I was in labor awaiting Colton. Man time flies...it's sad actually. What used to be my little chicken-legged baby (heehee) is now my "Chunk-a-munk" or "lil'man" as I call him. He's cooing and smiling at me. And he's definately a hawk b/c he watches my every move! We love our new addition and the girls are really getting used to having a brother!

This week has been nothing but filled with piles of laundry, the usual chores, little defiant cuties (errr...Sydney), and a little creation I've been working on with the help of a scrappy friend (April...Mamadriggers). This was something she and I had talked about doing when we were on the same DT that went stale at the beginning of the year and I just didn't think it would be feasible at the moment to do it (and financially), but I got off my "ars" and said, what the heck...why not add more to my plate, right? I mean, I just had a baby, why not make another one!! NOOOO...not a real baby, an online baby...a scrap site!!

I'm still doing LOTS of research and trying to figure out just how in the heck to download some things (which it's all Greek to me), but it's coming along. We already have a message board and a blog which just opened up this past Monday and we have 10 members (plus me and April = 12). I'm excited and I hope to get an online store up eventually....like by the summer...I know that the members would like that too...it would be a perk!

This is a dream I've had and have been telling my DH, but he'd just hear it, say okay and then nothing was done about it. It was to his surprise when I told him Sunday evening what I was planning on doing and that I was following thru with it. I will say that it's a bit scary, but it's worth it. I'd rather say I gave it a try then say "I hope to one day...".

So the website is: http://themosyscrapper.forumakers.com/index.htm Come and check it out. Give me suggestions or email me at mosyscrapper@hotmail.com. We'd love for you to join our "peanut gallery".

Well, today I'm going to do the bills and then tomorrow I'm going to The Scrapbook Expo in Orlando. I sooo can't wait to fill up bags of pretty papers that say "pick me, pick me!!" heehee I'm excited!!

Anywho...that's all for now.
