Not much happened during the week last week. Just during the weekend!! On Saturday my daughter had a FAMILY PICNIC for her school at a nearby park and it was filled with food, games for the kids, silent auctions, prize baskets and a cake walk! It was a lot of fun for the kids. Then when we got home the girls and I tackled a big chore....give our boat a bath!! UGH! Hubby was at work so he got out of it and I needed to get this done before my 2 nieces came over for a sleep over. Well, we girls got the job done and had a sparkly boat!
Well, the night was rough. My 2 nieces had a hard time getting to bed and kept waking up throughout the night. Plus, 1 of them had 3 bloody noses thru the night...and picking at the nose wasn't the culprit...wish it was!
Then on Sunday their parents came over and we all got ready to take the boat out to a nearby beach. We met my SIL and hubby and they brought their jet skis!! We had a great time out on the water. The water though was a bit chilly, but the sun made up for it. And did we get red (well, Neal and I did anyways). The girls had a blast on the skis. Can't wait for warmer weather so we could do this again!!
Well, when we got home it was the dreadful job of washing the boat again...boat was salty! Finally, after dinner and the girls off to bed it was very relaxing and a nice end to a LONG weekend.
Only to start all over on Monday when my oldest daughter had a field trip to Universal Studios. She had sooo much fun. It went better than I had anticipated. BUT I was ready to go home after being their from 10-6!!!
Today was just cleaning up the house. It always amazes me how messy the house gets when we are always out doing things on the weekend. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE??? No one is home to mess the house up. Well, this week is pretty low-key until the weekend again I'm sure!
Till then!

The ACS walk and house hunting
Well, Friday was the ACS's Relay for Life and it was a great evening for it. My dad came over to help with Sydney since she was feeling under the weather and Morgan and I went for the walk. We were able to raise $325 for this cause. THANKS TO ALL THOSE THAT DONATED! My niece and her daughter attended with us (only niece by marriage...she's practically my age!) Here are some pix that were taken...it was AWESOME to see all the "in memory of" and "in honor of" bags that were all lit up along the track and up on the bleachers, which ended up being lined up to spell 'HOPE'...it brought goosebumps to my arms. We walked for about 3.5 hours and then back home. I was soo tired the next day. I haven't done any physical activity in a while!!
On Saturday we decided to go house hunting and it was soooo HOT outside. YIKES!! Found some really gorgeous homes with not so nice (big) lots. Guess we are spoiled with what we have right now. Oh well, gotta get what we can get wherever we choose to live. The girls weren't on their best behavior and after 3 hours of house hunting I had it!!! I wasn't interested in the hunt any longer. Just couldn't wait to get back home, plus I had to sit in the back seat and I always get car sick!! YUCK!!
Came home and made some yummy hamburgers. Colby Jack cheese, bacon, carmalized onions ontop of the burger w/ BBQ sauce to top it off!! MMMM...I want one right now!
Dad stayed until Sunday morning and after he left we decided to look again in one of the areas we were the day before. Then I thought since hubby had to spend the night at my SIL's only 30 minutes away, why not hang out with them after the hunt. So, we did and had a great time. It was good to get out of the house and just do something.
The weather was outrageous today...talk about WINDY!!! Well, it's past my "scraptime" (heehee) and I'm starting to feel like I'm coming down with something. Throat is starting to feel weird when I swallow and the back of my neck aches...I hope I'm not catching something!!!
Tata for now!

Just a BLAH week...could be worse!
This week has been pretty BLAH. Nothing special going on. Hubby went to Dallas on Tuesday for a work convention and is coming back this evening. Can't wait to see him. I know the girls are going thru withdrawals. The past couple of nights I've had "me" time and that meant...SCRAP TIME!!!
Got to finish a swap that I'm in and I'm finally thru w/ swaps for a while. I love doing them, but they take a lot of my regular scrap time away from me. Out of my 2 all-nighters I only completed 1 LO. :( Oh well, was very productive getting the swap done, cleaning my scrap room, cleaning the house, playing on the computer and catching up on all my shows I DVR'd. Still behind some but it's a lot better than it was before!
Tomorrow is the ACS walk. Sydney is feeling under the weather since yesterday so I think she won't be walking w/ me and Morgan. I have my dad coming tomorrow to hang out and then he'll watch Syd. Originally, my mom was not supposed to work and she and I were going to do the walk with the girls and then we were going to drop the girls back home w/ my dad while we walked some more, but that's not happening. I think that it shouldn't matter how long we walk, just as long as we are present for some part of it. We've had very generatious contributions (THANK YOU EVERYONE!) for the ACS Relay for Life walk...$305 total!! I'm really excited that we made more than I projected. Couldn't have done it without our friends and family.
This weekend some time Neal and I are going to look at houses south of here. Still don't have our house on the market just yet. Got to get hubby to sign the forms for the realtor. Maybe he'll sign them tonite if he's not too tired strolling in around 11pm. Hmmm??
Well, going to finish the laundry and cleaning up my office here. YIKES!
Have a good day!

Easter weekend in review
Well, I'm glad the weekend is over. It was a great one, but it was long too!
Friday, the girls and I went to my parents and stayed there till late afternoon. Just relaxed and helped my dad on his computer. Talk about getting bug eyes after I was done! Then came home and my sister-in-law and her family were over. Hubby came home late because he was at his furthest store (2 hours away). It made for a long day. I came to the realization that I'm not going to be able to "have my cake and eat it too!". He left home at 645am and got home at 915pm. That's a long day. And there are chances he'll have to do this 2 to 3 times a week...just depends on his stores performances. So...it's in the cards...
we're going to look at houses next Sunday about 45 minutes south of here. And really, we are still close to his family. I'm kind of excited about it. I'm just glad it's not going to be on the other coast like it was going to be the beginning of last week!
Anywho...Saturday we went on a Nature Walk and the girls loved it. It was such a beautiful day. Then we ate lunch on the river (Crystal River) and then walked around our 'itty-bitty' mall!! Didn't get anything, had the urge, but contained myself! (pat on back) Then it was nothing for the rest of the day. The in-laws came over for dinner and then when the kids were off to bed, it was preparing Easter goody bags, preparing some food for the brunch and helping my SIL make individual Easter egg cakes. They turned out really cute and the kids loved them! It was fun decorating. Wish I had my camera uploaded.
Sunday of course was Easter and the weather was WACKO!!! 68 for the high! The kids had fun gathering the eggs up and eating their goods. By the time 4pm came around the house was empty and it was quiet. It was really nice.
Today, Sydney is at school and Morgan is out of school. Just chillin' with her. She wants to scrap so once I get off here and eat lunch we're going to do just that!
Well, Ciou!

No move...flat tire...the weekend
Well, just like the title said...in that order.
Yesterday my hubby calls me and says that the region that he was going to work in is no longer his. He still is a Reg. Mgr, just in a different region now. And it happens to be a little south of where we live!! So, we can stay here. YIPPEE!! Well, according to my husband, his boss would like him to live in his region. Technically, the "region" starts 45min south of here and runs 2 hours from our house. So, we "should" move a little south, but we are going to try this commute thing...or I should say he is going to try the commute thing. So, I was so happy yesterday I was crying!! Now Morgan can still play soccer with her cousin, we will be in the same area as his family and I don't have to pack!! FOR NOW (ugh)
Then this morning, took the girls to school and had errands I had to do and what do ya know...a flat! RRRRR!!! So called AAA and got them out (an hour later), but during that wait, I got to help out at my daughter's school. They were getting ready for an Easter party. Each age group got to rotate thru a room and decorate their chocolate cupcake Easter basket. It was too cute helping the teeny-weenie kids!! It was simple...mini chocolate cupcakes, white frosting, coconut shaken w/ green food coloring (the grass) and then a couple of jelly beans (the Easter eggs). Oh, and a strip of a long tootsie roll that you pre-cut...make these the handle of the basket. The kids just gobbled them up! It was a hoot.
Anyway, I forgot, on top of the flat, I forgot my cell phone at home. I ALWAYS carry it with me!! So, after I got the tire changed I sped home to get the phone and tried to get what I could done...didn't get to all of them.
It took the tire place like forever to patch the tire up so thankfully I left it there while I went on with the rest of my day. Got some cleaning done (not all that I'd liked to), got my swaps organized, packaged and mailed out and then got the tire put back on my truck and the spare snug under the truck!
Came home and whipped up some dinner and the girls are playing a little before bath.
Now for the weekend. Tomorrows Good Friday and the girls and I are going to my parents house for the day and then I have to make it back by 6pm for my sister-in-law and her family. They are staying the weekend. We were going to go out on the boat Saturday instead of working in the yard. It was hubby's idea..."let's celebrate" he says. Well, weather stinks...why does it have to be cold weather in April. Well, not really "cold" per se, but 70 degrees in April?? Come on!!! So, we are going to do yardwork instead...blah!!! At least it'll be nice out, right?
Then Sunday got the rest of the family coming over for an egg hunt. Can't wait to get good pix for that!! I'm glad I charged my camera yesterday!!
Well, if I don't get on here before Easter...Happy Hoppy Bunny Day to you!!!

9 days and counting
Well, only 9 days till the RELAY FOR LIFE. So far we've collected $75 on our American Cancer Society website and $230 from friends and family. I'm so excited that our total is $305 and we still have time left!!
Today the girls did a 'Trike-a-thon' for the St. Jude's Childrens Hospital at school. They got to bring their bikes/trikes and ride around in circles for an hour. I'm not sure how much the school collected. There are only 58 kids that go there so even if $20 was collected per student that would totally ROCK! They had fun and are now sleeping from riding their little hearts out.
So, come check out my site (just copy and past it): https://www.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=191841&supid=168619489
Have a great day!

Fallen in Love...with my pictures
I've uploaded some more pix onto my computer and just FELL IN LOVE with some of the pix I've taken...of my girls of course!! They take good pix when they feel like it and I'm so glad that I got to capture them!! Then it dawned on me...I might forget this moment when I want to scrap my pix. See...I scrap chronologically and right now I'm working on the photos from the year 2002. Mind you, I've breezed thru 1999-2001 since last summer. At this pace, I might not get to my 2007 photos till the year 2010!! YIKES! I'll probably forget what happened at the exact moment the photos were taken. Gingko Biloba can't even help my brain!
Anyways...I've decided to venture out tomorrow and get myself a new 12x12 album and just scrap the "now" pix, as well as my catching up years. I'm still not even done w/ my girls baby books. I'm more like 2/3 done w/ theirs...thankfully. And oh gosh, if we have another child...just add it to my long list of "to-do's"!!
Here are a few pix that I've fallen in love with and can't wait to get started on. The first is of my 2 girls being in a lovable mood with each other and my camera!
And this is of my youngest, Sydney, with her NEW bike that she's so scared to ride now!
Well, off to figure out what these LO's are going to be and order my photos! Oh gosh, gotta finish up one of my swaps too!! Gonna be a late nighter again!

Commuting days have begun
Well, this weekend flew! On Saturday we took a trip to the area where we "think" we will live once our house sells. DELAND. It's a nice area. Definately need to check out the schools, store locations, and of course...gotta find a place to support my scrap-habit!
We looked at the area and model homes. Found some nice homes, just not what we are spoiled with now. We will have to downsize as far as our lot goes. Right now 1 acre is AWESOME!!! There, good luck finding a subdivision that has that for the price we pay here. Oh well.
We would be 25 minutes from the beach. Right now we are about 15-20 but the beach here is the "Nature Coast" which means...not really a beach. Boating will be different over there. We'll have to see how that goes. Hubby is looking forward to just riding his motorcycle over there. AND we are about 45-50 minutes from my folks, so that will be good.
Today we went over to Neal's parents house for his dad's 77th b-day. Gonna miss get togethers like we had today when we move. THAT's LIFE though! Neal left tonite for my parents house and is working in his new position tomorrow. Our "commuting days" have begun. UGH! I have to look on the bright side though, I get "me" time and more "scrap" time. And then there's "pack" time. EEEWWW!!!
