Disaster in the closet!

Okay...today I am supposed to be cleaning (gutting) out the closet in the office. It is piled high of my scrapbook inventory. No, not the scrap stuff that I like to play with, but the scrap supply that I am trying to sell in my online store!!! DON'T YOU WANT TO BUY FROM ME??? :) (http://themosyscrapperstore.com) <----like my plug? heehee

Well, this is one project that I want to do but don't want to do! There really isn't one good way to get it all organized except designated boxes for each kit that I have put together. But then I can't close the boxes up b/c 1.) I have to get into them in case someone buys and 2.) The kits are just so tall and loaded! WHAT TO DO? The closet really isn't the best shaped closet either. What happened to the regular rectangular shaped closet? This one is like a triangle? (scratching my head) UGH!

But it's got to be done come hell or high water! {I don't wanna}

Okay...I took photos of the mess so far, but I'm not going to post them yet. I want to do a before and after shot so you'll just have to wait and see. And I have to stop procrastinating b/c I have to pick Morgan up in an hour and the other 2 kiddos will be waking from their naps in an hour. Oh help me! I'm not going to get this done in an hour. Off to work......

I'm older

Well, yesterday I turned 33. I don't feel it and I hope that I don't look it. I may have the responsibilities of a 33 year old...but that's it. I THINK.

Yesterday was just another day. But it was nice to have my parents here and my family too. Neal made us a yummy breakfast...pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs. YUMMY eggs babe! ;)

Then I opened up the presents. The girls decorated the wrapper that mom wrapped for them and they made me some homemade cards (those are the best). Now I can cut up food faster (my Santoku knife), play on Neal's laptop while he's in the office or vice versa (router...FINALLY!!!), suck up the crumbs after breakfast, lunch and dinner (my lime green dust buster....LOVE IT!) and stitch (my sewing machine from parents...LOVE Singer). I'm very thankful!

Parent left early yesterday. And we sat at home until about 230ish and headed out to Ocala. Stopped at the Petstore, had to take care of my jumbo cat Simon. Then Morgan and I went into Barnes & Nobles while Neal played nap-sitter with the other two in tow catching some zzzz's. Morgan was just in AWE when we walked into that yummy smelling store...oh, love the smell of coffee!! She wanted one of every book! hahaha She picked just one since she did so well on her 2nd report card. We've told her that if she does very well on her report cards she will get a little treat, and she asked for a book. Can't say "no" to that! Then we went to Toys R Us to see what we could get Colton for his upcoming bday. UGH...what to get a boy at age one!!! Too many choices, but we narrowed it down and you'll just have to wait till next month!

After all this we headed out for some FOOD!! We ate at Yamato's and the kids had fun. Even Colton shoveling everything you put in front of him. The flaming volcano, tossing knives didn't phase him and the girls...they were just enjoying the evening. Stuffed as we all were...we had two huge doggy bags to take home which I will be more than happy eating for the remainder of the week! ;) Oh and about that diet that I'm on...yes, still doing it...only 5 lbs less...I take that. Only 20 more to go!

Happy Bday to me!

We see ice!

Well...I think I screwed up my diet! UHOH! I had so much caffeine yesterday afternoon I think that explains me not going to bed until 3:30am this morning! YIKES! I was productive though. I created a card for my sites January Charity and also had some mojo juice flowing and finally got to this layout for my Book of Me!!

This morning, after about 3 hours of sleep I woke up to this:
It was very cold last night...and today we did have running water unlike our surprise yesterday!

Then I had to take some photos while loading the kids up in the car for school today: Aren't the sparkles so pretty?! I love the ice that is on my passenger side mirror...Morgan says, "Look! Snowflakes!"

It was so nice to get into the warm truck! I LOVE this time of year! And of course, I had to sneak in some shots. One of Morgan after getting back into the car from dropping her sister off at Pre-K: And one of Colton after we arrived home from dropping Morgan off at her school:

What are my plans today? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! It's my birthday "weekend"! Heck, I can make that excuse up, right? :) My parents are coming later today to spend time with us thru Sunday. Tomorrow we have late soccer games to go to. Nothing planned for tomorrow night. And I hope on Sunday that Neal makes me breakfast...Diet-smiet!! NOT THIS WEEKEND!!! I also can't wait to go out to dinner that night too!!! Y-A-M-A-T-O-S!!! Mmmmmmm....

Well, gonna do some things to my scrap store and then maybe scrap some!

2 weeks have passed...

...well,just about anyways, since I started Weight Watchers. It hasn't been easy but I feel lighter! Hahahaha My eating lifestyle is different. I'm more cautious as to what I put into my mouth (more so so that I can keep track of my points) but I feel somewhat disciplined now. I HOPE! I've lost 5.5 pounds and that's pretty good considering that I haven't done much for a workout. Still trying to fit it into my chaotic life and I think even if I have 5 minutes here and 5 minutes there I need to something...pushups, squats, calfs, abs...WHATEVER! I really want to see more of a loss than an average of 2-3 pounds for week #3. I'm soooo gonna win this challenge between everyone else. Neal has losed 6 pounds total so far (after giving in on one occasion), but that's okay. Colleen and Lindey haven't lost much either. OH, IT'S SOOOOO ON!!! :)

Well, we have some friends coming over this evening w/ their 2 kids. I better get the food prepped for later. TaTa for now! Enjoy your weekend.

My boy is growing!

I can't believe that my lil' man turned 11 months yesterday! Where has the time gone?

He is pulling himself up to standing, walking with the help of anything he can get to move and push forward, eating what we eat now, drinking mostly from a sippy cup...it won't be long before he's running off!

BOO-HOO!!!

Well, today, I finally put the call in to a realtor. :sigh: I don't want to move but I know that it will help Neal out in the long run with his very long days at work. The thought of having to pack everything up and then keeping on top of the house every stinkin' day...not amused! Well, hopefully it sells for a could price, only the economy can tell.

It's finally getting cold here too!!! It was cold this morning that the grass had a nice blanket of ice over it for quite some time! And ice on our cars!!! Woohoo!!! I love this kind of Florida cold!

Well, gotta do my scrapping plug....over at The Mosy Scrapper we have a Sneak peak and some contests/calls/challenges that are up...here is a link to it: http://mosyscrapper.blogspot.com/. Here is a sneak peak of one of the kits, "Bella": Stop on by and tell your scrappy friends!

Sydney's Day

Thanks to the show, Jon and Kate Plus 8, I stole a tradition that they have with their kids. What is it? When each kid gets a day to spend with Mommy and Daddy sometime during the year. Well, I don't have a brood like they, but my 3 definately need some QT time w/ their madre and padre so I decided why not start this in the new year!

Since Morgan had a playdate/sleepover at her cousins I took that opportunity to use Jan 10th as Sydney's day. Each month a different child will get a month and I also incorporated Neal and I to have a day to ourselves too, why not?!

Sydney was excited to have her "special" day and she was so sweet, she wanted her little brother to join in on the fun. I told her that it was HER special day, but she would have nothing of the sort..."I want Colton to come to on my special day!" So, what could I do? (having a babysitter would help too!)

She picked BOWLING! We haven't done that in a while and it was so much fun watching her bowl. Thanks to her, my score was higher (thanks bumpers!!) Every time her turn went she would jump up and say "Woo-Hoo"...it was too cute. Colton just sat there in his stroller watching all of us play. Then after bowling it was off to eat dinner. She just wanted a place that made macaroni and cheese and also requested Applebee's. While sitting at our table she looked out the window and saw Home Depot and said she wanted to go there next. WHAT ON EARTH FOR? Of course that perked Neal's ear and off we went to Home Depot! LOL

She had a good day and I will have to say that it was also my "special" day because I got to be reminded of each of my children's individual quirks and what makes them just so darn cute!

Day 3

Day #3 of this challenge and I think I've figured out how to not starve!! Hahaha Got to find those filling foods. I signed up thru weight watchers and I think it's helped me so far with figuring out what I'm putting into my body. Oh, my body is sore too! I went running/walking Monday and did one of my videos that I've collected and then yesterday the girls and I did another block around the neighborhood, but didn't get to run this time (I had a cranky, tired, whiny child in tote...no not the baby...Sydney). I really want to get up early and go running and I had planned to yesterday but when I hit the snooze button at 6am..OY VEY, it's dark out there...and I'll admit it...I'm afraid of the dark! LOL But I shouldn't make excuses.

Today I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things for our diet. I didn't even notice my tummy growl once! Is it shrinking? Oh that would be wonderful...it's too early though. Can't wait to see how much water weight gets shed this Saturday at the weigh-in.

On a different note...Colton popped out his 3rd and 4th tooth! Up top, so now he will look like a vampire! What a cutie. Here is a picture that Andrea captured on Xmas...just love this picture!

At the MOSY SCRAPPER there are so many challenges going on this month and chances to save $$ in the TMS store. You should go check it out:

I actually got to scrap some too this past week! How did that happen?! You can click on the link to the left to see my gallery that I'm trying to build up for this year.

Well, I've got 2 kids napping and one in school still. Got to make my time worth while. Off to read emails and do some laundry! TTFN!

Weigh-in in 5 hours and counting

UGH...tomorrow or I should say today...just 5 hours and counting will begin the BIGGEST LOSER challenge between Neal, Colleen, Lindey and myself. It was Neal's idea and I wanted to loose weight too, so why not challenge myself and try to be the first to lose my target weight of 25 pounds. I'm sure that the guys will end up reaching their target weight faster b/c they weigh more, that's what I noticed from watching the show The Biggest Loser. But, we'll have to see. We all are doing different weight regimes...I have mine. Lots of cardio, weights, toning and eating better. I am not going to go cold turkey on anything. I'm really not going to take anything out of my normal diet...I'm just going to eat proportionately. I don't need to depleat myself from the foods I like. Which means if I want to eat pizza...I eat 2 slices vs. 4 slices. If I want a Philly Cheesesteak (which I just LOVE) I will eat 1/2 of what I normally eat. I know my limits and I'm ready to take on the challenge!!

Weigh in is in the am and again on Saturday after the girls soccer games. Why Saturdays? Well, we are all together every Saturday b/c of soccer so it just made sense. And we are doing total % body weight like they do on the Biggest Loser. It'll be fun and interesting...at least that's what I tell myself!! LOL

********************************************************************************

As for THE MOSY SCRAPPER...check out these kits:

YUM-O!! Even a non-scrapper would love to have these kits!! Lots of paper to play with, tons of textured embellishments...you will go wild with these kits!! Go get yourself one now before they are gone!!
