Summer's over

I haven't been on here in over a month! Time flies!! Not much stuff going on. I tend to lead a very normal or boring life! Heehee.

In August nothing really to write about. My oldest started kindergarten...boohoo. Actually, I surprised myself. I didn't cry like I thought I would be. I was very nervous for her and excited. I guess the crying was done last year when she went to Pre-K. She loved it though, the first day that is, it was yesterday. She did so much work the first day. She's off today thru Thursday since it's the first week of school. They have like 4 kids each day (Mon-Thurs) and then on Friday they all go. Next week we'll see how much fun she'll have! Haha! My youngest is going to a daycare/preschool for a couple of hours for 3 days a week. That'll give me some quiet time to do chores, errands and scrap time!! I can't wait. I've already got a list of things to do around the house though, better get crackin so I can scrap!

I went to the doctor's yesterday and got the picture above. Kind of freaky looking. It's really neat what technology has done for us! We still don't know what the sex is...a little early and the stinker wouldn't cooperate either!

Anyways, I haven't done much scrappin'. :( I just haven't been in the mood. I'm hoping that now with school in I'll find my mojo!!

Long weekend!!

My house has been full of bodies since Thursday. My 2 nieces came over while I babysat them on Thursday. My parents came over right before my nieces left. Then Friday my nieces came back one more time to be babysat. Saturday my daughter's had their b-day party. That was fun. The weather was perfect for a princess/pool party. My SIL made this gorgeous cake (as usual) for the girls!! The girls had lots of fun at the party. We had guests stay over (parents and Morgan's godparents) Saturday evening. Then on Sunday they all left. Sunday evening my SIL came back over with her girls and had a sleep over b/c on Monday I had a doctor's appointment.

I finally got to hear the baby's heartbeat and I even got a sneak peek of it!!! It feels real now!! I was sooo nervous before the doc came into the room. I was just hoping everything with the baby was alright, which I think most pregnant mom's to be feels before their doc appointment. Can't wait to go again in 4 weeks. I think she gives ultrasounds at each visit. And she even has a 3D machine...how cool!!! Now, just need to wait and see if we have little boy or little girl. AND YES, only 1 growing in my belly!!

Well, I've added something to the left side of my blog as well as did some changes to the top. Can you spot them?

My crop

Well, I had a crop at my house on Sunday. It wasn't the turnout that I'd hoped for, but it was nice and quiet. We all got stuff done. The funny thing was it was my 2 SIL's and my MIL!!! They all did 3 pages and I only did 1 LO and 1 card!! Heehee. I was too busy talking and helping. I was just glad that they are taking to scrapping more than I thought they would!!

My one SIL is into scrapping now. She's got a nice architect table at her house and has converted a spare bedroom into a craft room and is collecting scrap supplies. She was working on her step-son's wedding album. It was pretty good if you ask me.

My other SIL, my best friend, was working on her cake book that I made her for her b-day. There is plenty of room to add more pix of her cakes that she keeps making and she wants to put the pix in her album for people to see. She had fun figuring out how to be creative. She said it was draining though!

My MIL worked on her cruise album that I partically made her for their 30th anniversary. She had no clue what she was doing but she did AWESOME!

I was really proud of them all!! While they where over, my hubby and girls went to a horse farm. The girls LOVED it!! I'll have to add some pix!



Well, that's it about my week so far. It's going pretty slow. Kind of boring actually. Took the girls to a movie yesterday for the kid matinee. It was Sydney's first movie at a theater and she did GREAT!!! We saw "Doogal". It was a cute movie. Maybe we'll go to the beach this week sometime. It's just so hard to want to go do stuff and not have to pay sooo much for the activities. Well, that's it for now.

Mojo came back!!!

Finally...I got my mojo back!! I cleaned and organized my scrap room a little more today and redid my cabinets. I'm soo excited that I felt like scrapping tonite!! It's like I cleared my head after clearing my area! WHAT A RELIEF!!

I better get mojo b/c I have a crop party at my house on Sunday. I think only 5 people will attend plus myself, but for 4 straight hours, no hubby or kids, it'll be fun! Looking forward to it.

Tomorrow I need to do some housework and getting my supplies ready for the crop. Here is my LO that I did and a look at my scraproom.

Happy July 4th!

Well, the past couple of days have been somewhat painful. Monday I had a migraine all day and the girls were really good to me. They let me just lounge around while I stuck out the migraine. At times I felt like puking but didn't. I had some close calls, but it was okay. I felt so bad b/c we didn't do anything that day. Tylenol didn't help and it stunk b/c I can't take anything else. This baby better be a boy!!! heehee

Yesterday it took an eternity just for the fireworks in Inverness. The girls were so anxious from the time they woke up. We finally met my niece and her family around 6 to go over to the park where the festivities would be. BUT the weather wasn't looking in our interest. In fact, we had to take cover twice. DH wasn't sure if he'd make the fireworks b/c of work and eventually a little twist of his arm over the phone got him to the park just in time. But he brought more rain with him! The kids were a little disappointed b/c they knew that the rain would stop the fireworks. In fact, the 3rd shower changed a lot of people pack up and go home. Just as they all got their chairs in bags, coolers packed up and blankets folded the fireworks started!!! The girls were in awe and it ended up turning out perfect! I'm just glad that we stuck it out.

This morning my husband and decided to wake up Sydney around 630am to sing her Happy B-day. Only b/c DH was leaving for work. She got up and ran outside the room and stood behind a wall while we sang to her. I think she was a little embarrassed as well as sleepy. Then when we stopped she ran back into the room, fell on the floor next to the bed and hid. We had to pick her up and lay her back to sleep!! It was soo funny. She's still sleeping now, 1 1/2 hours later!! :) Morgan didn't even budge when we tried waking her up. And to think it was her idea to do this!! Oh well.

I can't believe Syd's 3 today. Today is my 3rd year being a SAHM and retired from work too. WOW, time flies. Only to start the diaper and formula thing all over again in 7 months. :)

Well, hope all has a Happy 4th and enjoy the fireworks!!

Lost Mojo and another Toot!

Well, I haven't had the desire lately to scrap!! NIGHTMARE!!! I can't seem to find my mojo. It's not hiding in my house b/c I've looked everywhere!! Maybe it's on vacation, maybe it ran away. I just hope it finds it's way back home soon!!

On a better note...I submitted some LO's to savvynsassy.com for their DT call. Didn't get picked but they asked me to be a Guest Designer for September. I'm really excited about it!! I wasn't expecting anything from the submission, just getting a little experience and stepping outside my box. Dont' know if I'll submit to any in the near future...got to see how life is going to be like with 3 kiddos!!!

Well, that's all for now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed my mojo stops in today sometime. If you've seen or heard the whereabouts of my mojo...tell it to come home!

Yippy-Skippy!!

Well, just got on the computer and checked my email. Got a message from thescrapbookclub.com Well...I am one of the members of their IDEA TEAM!!! This is soo cool!!! I've never been on a team (other than my 1 month, which is now, with AS.com). This is for 6 months!!! I soo can't wait to get the first kit and design for them!!! WOW, I'm oober excited. Just wanted to express my excitement!! :)

7 weeks

Well, last week I felt bloated like the Michelin Marshmallow puff man!! AND I was always tired around 5pm. But for some reason, last night I was able to stay up watching my Tivo'd shows until 1230am!! And then on top of that, I was able to get up early and I felt fine!! No more bloating feeling!! YIPPEE!!! But, what does that mean for now? Hmmm...

Well, I'm 7 weeks pregers today, only 33 more to go! Heehee.

I'm just playing on the computer right now while the girls are sleeping. I should be cleaning and cleaning up my scrap desk. NAH! Well, here are some of the creations I made last week. Right now I'm working on my girls b-day invites that need to go out tomorrow. EEK!

Getting the courage...

Well, nothing much going on this week. Started my membership back up at the gym, swimming a ton in the pool with the girls and tried out for a DT call at an awesome site (need to check it out peeps!!) called AddictedScrappers.com.

Today the day started out around 5am for me when I woke up next to both my girls in my bed and DH snoring! I had to get out of the room and ended up on one of my daughter's beds. Then at 7am my oldest comes in her room and DH tells me he's taking our boat back to the storage place. I thought, "what the heck is he doing up so early". Find out, he got kicked!! Heehee!

Then after he dropped the boat off we took our other car into the shop to get new brakes. FINALLY!! I then went grocery shopping with the girls while hubby did yardwork. Then we swam before lunch and after!! It was a nice relaxing day. DH and I finally watched PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS. I really liked that movie. And tonight we are just vegging out. Tomorrow is his day and I can't wait to make him the meals I plan on doing for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (I think that's the baby talking though!!)

Well, I've been searching on PubCalls.com and decided that I'm going to give it a try when other sites/mags have a contest or DT call. I'm trying to brave and step outside my box. It gets me experience in submitting and also a chance to meet other talented scrappers out there! And if I don't get anything, at least I'm getting scrapping done!! GOTTA THINK POSITIVE!! :) Plus, when baby #3 comes around, maybe I won't have that much time to scrap. Gotta get in what I can now!

Bit - mosquitos and the gym!

Well, yesterday was just too darn long and HOT!!! Went to my DH's work picnic down in Fort DeSoto beach. It was a beautiful beach and fun time there, the picnic was good and he had a good turnout! Got bitten up by mosquitos though! OUCH! Those darn things keep getting bigger!

Today I finally bit the bullet and joined back up at the gym. I hadn't stepped foot in there since March of 2005!! YIKES!! Time to start working out. Well, in my condition it's just keeping myself toned. Don't want to loose any weight, just maintain and stay healthy!! Only working on lower body and arms and staying away from the mid-section! ;) The girls did better than expected. I just wish we had a gym that had babysitter fees included in the gym price. Oh well...what can ya do.

Anyways, I'm sure I'll be sore tomorrow! That's okay, part of staying healthy I guess.

Well, off to see about getting my mojo back. Got to work on my June Kit from AddictedScrappers.com and try and enter into their DT call. Wish me luck! :)

I'M BACK!!!

We're finally back from PA!! It was a nice visit and the girls had a blast meeting their cousins and aunties and uncle!! The weather was kind of wishy washy for a couple of days. We're Floridians and well, what did I pack? Shorts, t-shirts and flip flops. Well, it got down to 64 one day and it was windy and gloomy!!! So, off to the store I went w/ my sister trying to find them some jeans and a sweater of some sort. Luckily I found what I was looking for and the girls were all cozy.
Now we are just trying to recoop and get back to our normal schedule. Doing laundry for me! YEAH!! Not!
Okay, off to check my emails and my scrap boards that I love!!

Pennsylvania-bound

Well, my long awaited trip to Pennsylvania is coming sooner than expected. I'm looking forward to meeting up with my half-sisters and brother and their families. Haven't seen a lot of them since my wedding almost 8 years ago and others even longer than that. I'm a little nervous too. I have one half-sister that I've never really spoken too. She and my other sister's oldest kid are graduating from high school so we are having a little get together this Sunday. I hope all goes well. I don't really know what to say to my sister. I guess I'll have to play it by ear.

Anyways, my dad, myself and my 2 girls are driving straight there. EEK!! I've got snacks lines up as well as DVD's!! I wonder how many potty breaks there will be?! heehee

Well, I'll be back to post about our venture. I'm gonna miss being at home and seeing my hubby. He'll be a bachelor for a week. Lucky dawg!
