Inspriation from SNS
Go check out this blog: http://snsribbon.wordpress.com/ and scroll down to the entry on Dec 29th titled "January 1st DT Tutorial — Katie’s Photo-A-Day Album". It's really neat I tell ya! I just excited that I got inspired from this article and I had some things to get started. I didn't use the items on the list, but I improvised and this is what I came up with:
*I used some leftover chipboard from packaging and it was the perfect size (I had 2 of these) and then I found some papers and created. I used BG Motifica I had in my PP box and some cardstock (cream, white and olive green). I figured there were 31 days in January so I just alternated page colors. Traced my pages and cut those.
*Glued the BG paper to 1 chipboard, inked the edges w/ Colorbox brown ink,
*found a 7Gypsies card that was perfect for this, inked those edges and added the dates of January '08,
*had some SEI cardstock stickers and used that for my alphas and then I found some number stickers that I had purchased at Lowe's once for our mailbox and cut around the #'s a little closer.
*I then found some CI coasters and chose this one, used Glimmer Mist (latte) and let that dry. *Then took my SU scallop punch and punched a green piece, used pop-dots on the coaster and then you get that little flower.
*I then punched little teeny holes in each of the pages and then stuck black brads to bind it.
*I found some coordinating fiber for this, and well...you see what I got!!
Now hopefully I can keep up with this. I might not get the pages done "daily" but I will eventually print my pictures and put them in for the ENTIRE month!
OH...got these pictures from my niece who went with some family members (including DH) today to the HORSE HOLE (mud boggin' place). They tooled around in the 4wheelers and had a muddy time!! :) This is definately a place I want to go 4wheelin' when my time comes!!! Can't wait! Need to designate a set of clothes as my "riding" clothes!! This is what happened to our RZR and my DH!!!
Where was I during all this? I was dropping the kids off at my parents in Orlando till January 1st. Tomorrow DH and I (along w/ 2 other couples) are going to Pleasure Island for New Year's Eve. This will be the first time we've done anything like this and well, I hope it turns out okay! I'm sure I'll have some pix from this...in fact, I need one for the my mini album, right?!

Being practical now these days
Today I'm planning on putting some of the Xmas decor away b/c DH wants to get the garage organized and all those Xmas boxes put away. Most of the "stuff" that's still in the house is his that go in the garage and he wants to clean the garage and yada-yada-yada...
So, hopefully I can get it all done today, we'll see.
I still need to get the pix from the holidays uploaded...oy vey! Maybe I'll do that later today when the girls are down for a nap.
Last night it occured to me that we don't have much time till Colton arrives. Technically, if babies were actually born on their due dates (well, Morgan was and she was our first child) that I would have about 6 weeks. But we all know that babies can come early (like our 2nd) and I'm good to deliver like in 2 weeks without having to worry to much of incubators and daily visits to the hospital. YIKES!!! I still need to get things for him!! EEK! Okay, now I'm stressed. The room still needs to be painted from purple to blue (used to be 2nd DDs room) and his crib needs to be put together, luckily DH has had practice twice on it with our other 2 girls (heeheehee) and well, need to get the following:
- bedding set
- hamper
- changing table
- towels (I have regular one's which those will do)
- hair brush (that's wishful thinking really, both girls had little to no hair)
I think it's sooo funny that with your first child you have to get ALL the things and stock up on clothes up to like 12 months. The 2nd child either has hand-me-downs or you just get a little bit. But it seems like any child after #2 you just get it as you go! I'm not in a rush (like I was w/ my first child) to get clothes for 6 months...I'm like "I'll wait till he grows to that point". Not that I'm not thinking about him, just a little more practical this time around. BEEN THERE DONE THAT! And I thought with it being our 1st boy that I'd be a little different.
Well, going to do some bills and then get the day started. Stomach is growling at me. Need to feed the baby! Tata for now!

Pooped!!
I submitted for a DT postion on Savvy n Sassy....keeping my fingers crossed. You know, after having such a tiresome week I actually got to scrap a layout yesterday!! Yippee for me. AND I can add it to my AAM album! Well, I'd post that LO too, but want to wait until the the DT is picked in another week.
Well, gotta get some sleep and hope that I only have to wake up once during the night versus 3!! And I pray that I don't get a charlie horse in my calf like I did last night (I got one 4 times IN A ROW) UGH!! DH ended up taking my leg and massaging it...I was trying to be quite and bite my pillow until it went away, but my emotions got to me when he took my leg and I broke down in tears...now it hurt like heck!! BUT, not as much as labor!!! hahaha
Anywho...GOOD NIGHT!

CRAZINESS this week!!
This is a "note box" that I made my niece (she's the girl coach in the pix). She's coach Morgan's soccer team this year. Thought I'd make a little something for her to put on her desk and work. She's always suppling me with notepads she gets from the Pharmaceutical reps, so I thought I'd return the favor and make her a place that can store some these! I just took some square coasters, covered those w/ patterened paper and then punched holes in them. Tied it up with ribbon and viola...got a box! Had to make it related to soccer and I'm sooo glad we got our soccer photos in time for this gift!
On Tuesday, Morgan had her Xmas Program at school w/ 3 other kindergarden classes. It was short and sweet. She did very well, singing all those Xmas songs. She's our little performer! She's the little one at the bottom right.
Then on Wednesday, Sydney had her Xmas Concert w/ her preschool/daycare. Of course, she sings ALL the songs at home, but when you put her on the stage...well, let's just say she looked like a deer caught in the headlights!! heehee Every now and then you would see her mouth move, but that was all! She's more cautious!!
Well, today is Friday and it's the end of the week practically. Still need to finish up some of my Xmas wrapping. Not at all looking forward to it. Stayed up till 230 am last night wrapping some presents. I'm either a slow wrapper or a neat one. Well, it didn't help that I was watching all the shows I had on my DVR. I'm finally caught up to the 2nd week in November!! I have LOTS of shows that I like to watch! ;)
Today, I'm going to be "trying" to wrap some if not all the presents (yeah right!) and hopefully get some relaxing done by scrapping!! Keeping my fingers crossed. Tomorrow Morgan has a soccer game and then we are going to see Xmas lights tomorrow night. Sunday hopefully DH takes the girls 4 wheelin' so I can have the house to myself to clean and prep food for our big dinner on Xmas eve!! OH, and more wrapping...grrrr!!!!
As for the baby...Colton...he's moving slowly now. Only 7.5 weeks left till due date. Yesterday the doctor wasn't in for my appointment (she had an emergency C-section to do) so the nurse just took my vitals, answered questions and listened to his heartbeat. I'm officially spoiled by my doctor!! NO 4D PIX THIS TIME!!! That's okay, so I have a "normal" OB visit! :) It's makes it more exciting now to not having to see his face...makes it seem almost near!!
Well, have a good weekend and thanks for visiting!!

I love my IKEA drawers!!
Used a mixture of PP's. First I spray painted the boxes (forgot to sand them down...oh well!), then used Mod Podge for the PP's, distressed them and placed thickers on the front of them.
I'm about 90% done organizing and redoing my scrap room. I think tomorrow (hopefully) I can get done. I have to go thru my scrap papers and then viola...I'll have to take another pix!
The room is looking good. My desk is actually cleared off! Just need to add more to the desk once I open up my Xmas present (i.e. new trimmer, Sizzix dies, markers, etc)...can't wait!
Well, check out the bottom of my blog for the most recent LO I did. Geez...that was like 1 week 1/2 ago. Need to get on the ball!

WE HAVE A NAME!!! :)
Monday, November 19, 2007
This weekend all we did was hang out with family and 4 wheelin'. Neal and the girls had loads of fun...and boy did they get dirty. I didn't want to ride this time. I was feeling really BIG and just wanted to relax and enjoy everyone. I got to take pix instead and laugh. We had a great time and it's too bad it had to end. But, we are all feeling refreshed and ready for the week.
I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving at my folks and then Black Friday shopping. It'll be my first time attempting this. Got my list all made out and what I need to get. It's the wrapping I'm not looking forward to...yuck!
Hope you all have a yummy Thanksgiving!! Stay safe!

Some late and new photos
Okay, finally uploaded my Halloween pix! Here are a couple. The first is of the girls outside our front door. Morgan was a cheerleader and Sydney was a kitty cat! They looked too cute and sooo ready to get some candy. The other pix is of my 2 nieces that joined us at a "Trunk or Treat" that was held at a local church. This was a first for us. It was a great concept. The parishiners all had their cars decked out in decor and they too were in costumes. It was short and sweet and a very nice nite!
The pix were taken by me last night before the girls went to bed. I had just got done reading a book to them and the baby started doing rolls or something like that. Morgan sang him a song and Sydney was just in awe that she was getting kicked. I was so glad my camera was near by to capture this moment. I can't wait to get these pix developed and scrap.
That's all for now. Have a great weekend!

3rd times the charm!!
It's a boy!!!
We are soooo excited. The girls are happy too!! All the little one could say was "thank you" because she wanted a baby brother so bad! I'm just glad we are able to give her one.
After the appointment I spent like an hour in Target registering for my "Baby Sprinkle" my DSIL is going to throw for us. I didn't realize all the things that I need! It's only been 3 years since we've had a baby but I think we can get by with the basics. I'm going to go check out some stores for the big items. Can't wait to go do that this week some time.
Now we have to start thinking of boy names and painting the playroom from purple & green to blue & green. I think I'm going to go with froggies as the theme in there. I was playing online looking at frog stuff and just boy stuff in general and I can't wait to go shopping!!! I wish I was made of money!! So many cute stuff out there! At least the waredrobe won't be so hard like it is for girls (i.e. shorts, pants, capris, skirts/skorts, dresses, etc) and there won't be any hair accessories and jewelry to worry about. OH, and the shoes will be pretty simple! WOW...I'm saving money as we speaks!! Haha!
That's it for now. Just glad that the baby showed us what it's got! ;)

BUMMER
Went shopping yesterday for our outfits for our family photos this coming weekend. Talk about frustrating!! Just trying to find outfits that had somewhat the same colors was stressing. Thought I found something good for the girls but then the colors didn't match at all. Just went with the same outfits for the girls...they'll get over it...they're still young and it looks cute when they match. CAN'T DO THAT MUCH LONGER!
Then after doing that I went scrap shopping and got good deals at Hobby Lobby!! LOVE THAT STORE!! Everything was pretty much 50% or 30% off and got awesome deals. Didn't spend much, just went in and got what I needed, did some 'window' shopping and then headed over to Michael's. Not impressed with that store anymore. The prices are so much more than HL and they don't offer as much.
All in all, despite not knowing what we're having, I was pretty happy yesterday. Then when I picked up my oldest from school she was wearing this ribbon on her shirt that said she was a "Proud Panther". A student gets that when they've showed good behavior and work. I was soo proud of her and I know that she was proud of herself. I just hope she keeps it up!

22 weeks now
- the baby is moving more and more and I go to the doc's on Monday...hopefully the baby will show us what it's got!
- Soccer season started last week. We have had 2 practices already and Morgan is playing like she never had a break! Can't wait to see what the season will bring.
- Sydney is doing good in "pre-pre school" as she calls it! She knows all her letters by sight and can recite the phonics already. She's a little early but I'm not complaining.
- I've gotten most of my Xmas scrap gifts done. Still working on one. I have the papers all measured...just need to cut and glue and then add embellies and viola!!
Other than that, nothing else is happening. Oh yeah, belly's growing. I'm 22 weeks now. Started taking my "pregnancy pictures" like I did with the 2 girls for the baby book. I start the belly shots at 20 weeks until birth. Well, hopefully next week I can update my blog with what the baby is!!! Personally I don't care if it's a girl or boy. I'm happy with whatever the gender is. If it's a girl...we've been there and one that. Plus I don't have to paint the "now" playroom b/c it's in girl colors. If it's a boy, it'll be spoiled by everyone in the family since we all don't know how to make a boy!! So, I'm happy either way.
Well, I've done 2 LO's this month, pretty sad. BUT I've been working on my Xmas gift projects so I can let that slide! One of the LO's is waiting for journaling. I need to get a white pen so I can journal on it. But the the other LO that I just did is down at the bottom of the page. Go check it out! Well, that's it for now.

Long weekend!!
I finally got to hear the baby's heartbeat and I even got a sneak peek of it!!! It feels real now!! I was sooo nervous before the doc came into the room. I was just hoping everything with the baby was alright, which I think most pregnant mom's to be feels before their doc appointment. Can't wait to go again in 4 weeks. I think she gives ultrasounds at each visit. And she even has a 3D machine...how cool!!! Now, just need to wait and see if we have little boy or little girl. AND YES, only 1 growing in my belly!!

My crop
My one SIL is into scrapping now. She's got a nice architect table at her house and has converted a spare bedroom into a craft room and is collecting scrap supplies. She was working on her step-son's wedding album. It was pretty good if you ask me.
My other SIL, my best friend, was working on her cake book that I made her for her b-day. There is plenty of room to add more pix of her cakes that she keeps making and she wants to put the pix in her album for people to see. She had fun figuring out how to be creative. She said it was draining though!
My MIL worked on her cruise album that I partically made her for their 30th anniversary. She had no clue what she was doing but she did AWESOME!
I was really proud of them all!! While they where over, my hubby and girls went to a horse farm. The girls LOVED it!! I'll have to add some pix!
Well, that's it about my week so far. It's going pretty slow. Kind of boring actually. Took the girls to a movie yesterday for the kid matinee. It was Sydney's first movie at a theater and she did GREAT!!! We saw "Doogal". It was a cute movie. Maybe we'll go to the beach this week sometime. It's just so hard to want to go do stuff and not have to pay sooo much for the activities. Well, that's it for now.

Mojo came back!!!
I better get mojo b/c I have a crop party at my house on Sunday. I think only 5 people will attend plus myself, but for 4 straight hours, no hubby or kids, it'll be fun! Looking forward to it.
Tomorrow I need to do some housework and getting my supplies ready for the crop. Here is my LO that I did and a look at my scraproom.

Happy July 4th!
Yesterday it took an eternity just for the fireworks in Inverness. The girls were so anxious from the time they woke up. We finally met my niece and her family around 6 to go over to the park where the festivities would be. BUT the weather wasn't looking in our interest. In fact, we had to take cover twice. DH wasn't sure if he'd make the fireworks b/c of work and eventually a little twist of his arm over the phone got him to the park just in time. But he brought more rain with him! The kids were a little disappointed b/c they knew that the rain would stop the fireworks. In fact, the 3rd shower changed a lot of people pack up and go home. Just as they all got their chairs in bags, coolers packed up and blankets folded the fireworks started!!! The girls were in awe and it ended up turning out perfect! I'm just glad that we stuck it out.
This morning my husband and decided to wake up Sydney around 630am to sing her Happy B-day. Only b/c DH was leaving for work. She got up and ran outside the room and stood behind a wall while we sang to her. I think she was a little embarrassed as well as sleepy. Then when we stopped she ran back into the room, fell on the floor next to the bed and hid. We had to pick her up and lay her back to sleep!! It was soo funny. She's still sleeping now, 1 1/2 hours later!! :) Morgan didn't even budge when we tried waking her up. And to think it was her idea to do this!! Oh well.
I can't believe Syd's 3 today. Today is my 3rd year being a SAHM and retired from work too. WOW, time flies. Only to start the diaper and formula thing all over again in 7 months. :)
Well, hope all has a Happy 4th and enjoy the fireworks!!

Lost Mojo and another Toot!
On a better note...I submitted some LO's to savvynsassy.com for their DT call. Didn't get picked but they asked me to be a Guest Designer for September. I'm really excited about it!! I wasn't expecting anything from the submission, just getting a little experience and stepping outside my box. Dont' know if I'll submit to any in the near future...got to see how life is going to be like with 3 kiddos!!!
Well, that's all for now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed my mojo stops in today sometime. If you've seen or heard the whereabouts of my mojo...tell it to come home!

Getting the courage...
Today the day started out around 5am for me when I woke up next to both my girls in my bed and DH snoring! I had to get out of the room and ended up on one of my daughter's beds. Then at 7am my oldest comes in her room and DH tells me he's taking our boat back to the storage place. I thought, "what the heck is he doing up so early". Find out, he got kicked!! Heehee!
Then after he dropped the boat off we took our other car into the shop to get new brakes. FINALLY!! I then went grocery shopping with the girls while hubby did yardwork. Then we swam before lunch and after!! It was a nice relaxing day. DH and I finally watched PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS. I really liked that movie. And tonight we are just vegging out. Tomorrow is his day and I can't wait to make him the meals I plan on doing for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (I think that's the baby talking though!!)
Well, I've been searching on PubCalls.com and decided that I'm going to give it a try when other sites/mags have a contest or DT call. I'm trying to brave and step outside my box. It gets me experience in submitting and also a chance to meet other talented scrappers out there! And if I don't get anything, at least I'm getting scrapping done!! GOTTA THINK POSITIVE!! :) Plus, when baby #3 comes around, maybe I won't have that much time to scrap. Gotta get in what I can now!

Bit - mosquitos and the gym!
Today I finally bit the bullet and joined back up at the gym. I hadn't stepped foot in there since March of 2005!! YIKES!! Time to start working out. Well, in my condition it's just keeping myself toned. Don't want to loose any weight, just maintain and stay healthy!! Only working on lower body and arms and staying away from the mid-section! ;) The girls did better than expected. I just wish we had a gym that had babysitter fees included in the gym price. Oh well...what can ya do.
Anyways, I'm sure I'll be sore tomorrow! That's okay, part of staying healthy I guess.
Well, off to see about getting my mojo back. Got to work on my June Kit from AddictedScrappers.com and try and enter into their DT call. Wish me luck! :)

What do dreams mean?
Have you ever had a bogus dream that really didn't make sense? Did you ever wake up and remember the dream vividly? Did you jot the stuff down? Well, yes to all the above!!! I jotted down key things I remembered in my dream and then got on the computer. I did a search on dictionary of dreams and came up with--->I have many stresses in my life; I will have grief; I am successful on my goals; and I'm bombarded w/ tasks in life. What were the things in my dreams?
- tornadoes
- green barn
- falling horse
- traffic
- falling rocking chair
- falling car
I don't have that many projects left for the month, but they are there. I'm sure I'll whip up some weird dream next week when it gets down to crunch time. **See bottom of blog for some recent projects completed!**
Well, off to bed now!! Need to see what I can come up with!! Heehee!
