I have been away from this blogging thing for quite some time and I will try and do a better job of it in the coming year.
Well, today is the last day of 2008 and I am up (real late) scrapping finally!!! I have or should I say "had" a clean desk. I better do that after this and then go to bed!!
I hope that 2009 brings everyone less headaches and more laughs!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Buzz-buzz and 12 tequilas!
Well...on Saturday it was time for Colton to get his first hair cut!! NOW HE LOOKS LIKE A LITTLE MAN!! :( I thought he'd freak out with the sound of the buzzers so Neal made sure he heard the clippers before doing anything and viola...surprise, surprise...he's such an awesome baby!! He just sat there! We didn't want to do anything fancy w/ his hair do for the first time...just a regular trim on the sides and back. He still needs to fill in the front areas (thanks Dad! Love ya!) ;)
This weekend we had a fun time spent with Neal's co-workers at a house on the water. It was so nice! It was almost like a mini-vacation. The kids had fun, even though Colton was sporting a low grade fever...nothing big...I think teeth are next! But the girls had fun with Neal's co-worker's little girl and big sister. The adults managed to go out to eat with more co-workers and bring the "party" back to the house. There I had a total of 12 shots only because 2 of Neal's co-workers thought I couldn't hold my tequila. WELL...I did! HA! I may have been buzzing after the 12th shot, but hey...what do you expect. Everyone left and Neal and I decided to go into the hot tub and that's where I really don't remember much! I just remember being in my PJ's and then waking up the next morning feeling like I needed to eat something FAST!
When we left the girls remembered (of course) that we mentioned putt-putt golf on the way home and Neal was trying to talk them out of it because he new that I was going to get sick. Well...I did. Poor parking lot at some building! YUCK! But I felt so much better once I picked my head up and closed the car door. Then I said...let's go play golf! Well...I didn't, neither did Colton. In fact, he and I sat in the car at the golf place while Neal took the girls to play. Colt was sleeping and I was, well, resting. I felt so much better by the time we got home! Needless to say...I can take the tequila, just not that much in that short of time. Although...I did pretty good for myself considering one of the guys taking shots with me was a pretty big guy!
Anyways...back to the grind here. Doing laundry, chores and taking care of my scrap business! It's doing alright I guess. It could be better, but it's only the beginning. ***There's a "12 weeks before Christmas" contest at THE MOSY SCRAPPER...click on the link to the left for details!***
Okay...off for now...gotta feed these kids some dinner!

Where have I been??
I can't believe 2 weeks have flown by since I last posted. I've been one busy woman!! Let's back track...
Two weeks ago I had a baby shower at my house for a friend, Amy. It turned out to be a GREAT shower! She had an awesome turnout. 19 ladies showed up and I believe they had a great time! Here are some pix:
One of the games that we played...bottle sucking! The mommy-to-be in the middle between a co-worker and her mom. She didn't win this game though. (only water in the bottles for this party!)

the cake my sister-in-law made...isn't it awesome!! It was sooo yummy too! Thanks Andrea for doing this! {hugs}

This is the diaper cake that I made for the table decoration/part of a shower gift. Of course I made her a scrapbook too!
Then the next day we went to her in-laws (Amy that is) and went ATVing. We had a great time spent w/ family and friends. Found a new place to ride every now and then. I did a lot of riding so I didn't get any pix of me.
Then in the week soccer started. Both girls had practice. I can't wait till the games start! It'll be a hectic Saturday, every Saturday till the end of February but it'll be fun!
This weekend I just spent some time with my folks. It was a much needed visit!!
Okay...until the next time!

Brilliant Blog Award!
My good scrappy friend, April Driggers, just sent me a "Brilliant Blog Award" for my THE MOSY SCRAPPER blog!
THANKS April :) http://mamadriggs.blogspot.com/
If you are one of those that do not know what the "Brilliant Blog Award" is, you're not the only one! I have never heard of this and as I was reading April's blog (after she was awarded one too) it started to make sense.
It basically is a way to promote other blogs out there in the blog-world and help it (the blog) get it's name out...sort of networking or doing a little "PR" work. I say....GREAT! Here are the rules:
1.)Once you receive the award you have to post about it showing you received the award, what it is, who gave it to you and a link to them....yada, yada, yada. You catch my drift? Okay...
2.) Choose a minimum of 7 blogs, or more, that you feel should be awarded the Brilliant Blog Award.
3.) Show their names and links and leave them a comment informing they were prized with 'Brilliant Weblog'.
4.) And then pass it on!
So...now that I have laid out the rules...here are my top 7 picks who I think deserve the "Brillant Blog Award"
1.) Dirty Shanks...http://dirtyshankcardchallenges.blogspot.com/Dirty - for those oh so funny cards that I wish I could have thought of making, but just to darn scared to! A great place to check out to get a snicker out of ya!
2.) Janet...http://myunorganizedwonderfullife.blogspot.com/ - well...because she's a Jon Bon Jovi fan!! hahaha That's not all...I think that Janet is not only talented (and was born to scrap) but I feel like we could be really great friends if we lived close by! She's a sweetheart!
3.) Melissa...http://melissapriest.blogspot.com/ - simply because she's just down to earth and her creations ROCK! Love reading your blog girl!
4.) Pink Sketches...http://pinksketches.typepad.com/pink_sketches_blog/ - love getting inspiration from sketches and seeing how some scrappers interpret the sketch!
5.) 2 Sketches for You...http://2sketches4you.blogspot.com/ - Did I say that I like sketches?? This is a great blog for inspiration!
6.) Heidi...http://seesterk.blogspot.com/ - a.k.a. SeesterK...what a scrapper! She's the "new" scrapper in town and boy is she scrapperific! She ROCKS. You should go check her out! I'm just so happy that I snagged her first for my DT before she get's all rich and famous! Hey Heidi...can I get your autograph??
7.) Make and Takes (http://www.makeandtakes.com/)- this blog for those cool ideas of crafts for the home or anywhere!
Okay...now I have to let my picks know. Thanks for reading!

Where have i been?
I have not been on here for a LONG time! EEK!
Let's see...what has been going on??
*OH...my website/store had it's 1/2 Birthday Bash Cyber Crop. THAT was a ton of fun!! Lack of sleep and scrapping...couldn't ask for more! I can't believe my message board is 6 months old already. Lots of talented and sweet ladies on there! You should come join and just chat with these ladies!
*I went to my niece's wedding, Jody, in Chicago. What a beautiful weekend! The weather was awesome too! Gotta love the grass up in Illinois...so not like the grass here in Florida. And there was no humidity! The fall is here! :)
*Now I'm back home and trying to get back on track with the daily chores, errands and trying to manage my message board and getting my store in line. Which I need to make changes to. That will all be in the coming weeks. I will have my October Monthly Page Kits and Project Add-ons in the store shortly...stay tuned!
*I changed the title to my blog...figured it fit! ;)
*Soccer practice starts today for my youngest daughter. She's soooo excited! I have to remember to bring my camera and post on here.
AND to post more often!
I have my friend's baby shower this Saturday at my house and then nothing until next weekend.
So, that's my month of September. October weekend's are already booked. So crazy I tell ya!

One of those "flip-flop" days
Ever walk out of the house in a frenzy and can't remember how you got on what you put on??
Well...that happened to me today. I went shopping with my niece Colleen for our friend, Amy's, baby shower...we first went to Hobby Lobby only to find out that they are closed on Sunday's...BUMMED!!! Then we decided to just go to old faithful - Michael's. We were in the store for about 45 minutes (with my sick son...poor man...he had a low grade fever, but he did awesome as usual...I think he likes shopping with mommy personally)...anywho...I'm at the checkout and as I was paying, Colleen says...
"you do realize that you have 2 different flip flops on?"
"WHAT?"
I look down...OH LORD!
"and you now tell me this?!"
DOH!! I had one silver flip-flop on and one brown flip-flop on. Now how in the world did that happen? I could have at least matched them in some odd way! I automatically go into back track mode and remember putting on flip-flops but not looking down. THAT WOULD BE THE PROBLEM! They luckily were the same brand and make so that is why I never noticed a different feel! Call me a dumba*@...DUH!
No one noticed during our ventures out to 4 MORE stores. I stood in line at Walmart and Bath & Body (so that wasn't one of our original spots nor a place for the baby shower gifts...but we had to take advantage of being in a town where the store is located) and not one person looked down at my feet...not like I'd want them too nor did I really want them to notice me. I mean...not even one of the teeny boppers noticed. THANK GOD!!! If I did this about 2 or 3 years ago I would have marched into a store to buy shoes that matched...today....I didn't care one bit! That is how I know I'm getting older! hahaha
So...when I arrived home I stood in front of my two girls that were planted on the couch and said...
"what is wrong with mommy's outfit."
I got a weird look from my oldest and my youngest daughter just pointed back and forth to my shoes. I told them what I did and they had the cutest expressions on their faces! Then a good laugh!
Glad to be a comedian today!
Moral: Make sure you do the up and down look before walking out of the house...even if you are wearing flip-flops! ;)

Slacker...10 days later!
Well...I haven't blogged since the 15th so that means it's been.....10days. Okay...what has happened...
Colton started scooting, really Army crawling and boy is he determined! He turned 6months too and is growing. The girls started school. The house is quiet for about 3 hours each day and I can get some stuff done because Colton goes down for a nap during that time for about 2 hours. I'm trying to get into a schedule again with school being in. Morgan loves her new school she's in. Here's a sweet picture the girls took for the 1st day of school. Neal had his gallbladde surgery and was out of the hospital in the evening. They had him walking right after recovery. That's the criteria to get out of the hospital after gallbladder surgery....eat, drink, pee and walk! He's a little sore. Not bad though. He started work again today.
We aren't going on our camping/atving trip to Georgia over Labor Day weekend like we wanted to. Instead we are going to Jellystone Park in Madison, FL which is about 2 hours north of here. Still camping/atving, just not that far. And we can save a little too. The kids will have fun and I know the grown ups will too. Just scrambling around here now trying to figure out what we are going to pack for the trip and figure out the grocery list that I have to do sometime between tomorrow and Thursday since we are leaving on Friday. EEK!! Need to make sure I have my batteries charged and plenty of clothes to bring. I can't wait!!
I'm also launcing my scrapbook store when I get back. Just bagging up all these products into a monthly kit. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I'm sure I will be pulling my hair out as the weekend nears and when we get back b/c now I am launching the store on September 2nd. So...if you go click on my site over the weekend the store will be closed because I won't be here. But come September 2nd (also Neal's bday...ahhhh!! Gotta get a gift!) the store will be opened!! YIPPEE SKIPPY!!! Here's a few sneak peaks of the my two monthly kits that will be coming out:
Please spread the word of THE MOSY SCRAPPER (http://themosyscrapperstore.com) Thanks!

The "gall" of some people!!
See that green thing? That was the word of the day yesterday! After going to bed at 130am Friday morning and being woken up at 150am it was the start of a crazy day! Poor Neal had to go in extra early to work b/c of some ballsy burglar, well, aren't they all?, anyways...he went to work VERY early and at 545am I get a call that he has pains under his right rib cage area that radiates to his back and nausea. He had this same feeling 4 days prior and then also 4 days before that! So, he went to the ER and long story short...found out that he has gallstone!
GEEZ!
So, now we have to wait for his regular doctor to give him a referral on Monday so that he can meet with a surgeon and schedule that! As for the time being, our diet, all of us, will change. It will be for the better, although I don't eat many greasy/fried foods. It'll be a somewhat healthier household.
Well, along with that yesterday the microwave goes out (shoot forgot to call GE!) and my SIL and kiddos, MIL and FIL came over. That was a nice visit. The kids had fun in the pool and just enjoying each others company.
Neal came home early and we thought we were all gonna have an early night except poor Colton got sick. He threw up all over himself in the crib and then a little more thruout the night. He didn't want to really go back to sleep and I don't blame him. I ended up giving him a little Gatorade to help his belly out. But he finally went down at 430am!! Talk about a long day!
I'm soo tired but I have ton of things to do today and places to go. I can't wait till tonite when the kids are in bed! I have to wake up early though for a garage sale I'm having with Colleen, which I'm hoping doesn't get rained out and one that makes some $$$!! Not looking for much, just want to get rid of some of the things...which I STILL have to go thru some time today.
Okay...one more thing (gotta plug my website) the announcement for the Design Team/Guest Design Team will be later today! Go check out the site. The store is ALSO open!
Okay...till next time!

The things kids play
Well, today the girls just had a fun day playing around and just doing what sister's do best. Before dinner they both decided to play hair dresser and Sydney became the customer. LUCKY HER!!! Morgan took some towels, wrapped it around Sydney's back and got our step stool so that Syd could have a place to sit in front of their bathroom sink.
Syndey sat real still while Morgan did her thing. After tons of water this is the product.
During it all, Colton was playing on his bedroom floor nearby. One day I'm sure one of his sister's will have him on that stool!
And before you know it...Morgan had accessorized Sydney's hair.
And then not 5 minutes later...they are off again playing another game.
Such silly girls!! Oh, to be a kid again!
One last thing before I finish this post....wanted to share some cards Morgan made for a card charity (LOVELETTERS) I'm donating to this month with my scrapbook message board... I just love how she is so into scrapping...can't wait till the day that she can come with me to a crop!

Another 4wheeling outing
Well, we had some fun on Sunday 4-wheeling again. Morgan got to take her bike out once more and have some fun. Learning to do hills in the pit and just riding. Here is a video: http://s53.photobucket.com/albums/g41/amooretto/?action=view¤t=VIDEOMorganupthehill.flv
My parents came over later that evening and we had some fun just hanging out. The kids enjoyed them too and didn't want them to go. It was a nice visit and now it's back to the grind....laundry, chores, getting business started and enjoying the summer. Only 19 days to go (20 if you count today). CRAZINESS!! Where has the time gone!
Well, got to go see what's making my youngin's such sleepyheads!!

I'm getting dirty and old!
Well, in a week...Colton turned 5 months. Here is a picture of him with his tiny mohawk (it's a stretch) at the Horse Hole this weekend.
This is a picture of me driving our RZR in the mud with Colleen as a passenger. We said we were going to get dirty and we sure did! Didn't think we would get that dirty!
Here is a picture of Morgan (top) and Zoe with their new toys...they both got these on Saturday. They were very happy to see their daddy's riding down the side of my house to show them while they were in the pool! Morgan got a 50cc and Zoe got a 90cc. We told them that these were their 'racing numbers' so there would be no competition. BUT, figures...Morgan said that Zoe's #'s were higher so that must mean that her's goes faster! What a stinker! They had fun at the Horse Hole but they need to do more riding before our trip again in Georgia.
This is a picture of me and Colleen again after our mudding.
And this is what it looks like in the mud! Thanks for the pictures Tamra!! :)
And yesterday my oldest turned 6!! I can't believe it. Time has gone by so fast. I still remember rocking her to sleep in her nursery and falling asleep with her in my arms in the middle of the night. (sniffle) Boy am I getting old!
And here is the cake she asked me to make for her. It's nothing like my sister-in-law would make, but it's a cake. (click on "Cake Walk" over to the left...that's my sister in law Andrea). Now she makes some cakes!
And had to add this picture of dear Sydney. She was so excited it was her sister's bday yesterday. She actually enjoyed sitting there watching Morgan open her presents.
Where's Colton? He was asleep for the evening. He went to sleep at 5pm!! Lucky me, he didn't wake up until 645am!! He must be growing.
Well, that is it for this past week. Me, just trying to get all my orders in for my scrapbook online store (Link to the left). It's crazy. Lots of paperwork and hair pulling. It's getting there though!
Till the next post and more pix!

Cave seekers
Well this past weekend we thought we'd take our toy hauler out for a camping adventure for the first time. My sister-in-law, her hubby and his son brought their RV and my niece and her family came with us. We had a good time...but boy it sure was HOT!!! We didn't go very far...we were only about 20-25 minutes from home, but it was nice to just get away. We went hiking and caving searching (thanks Tami). The girls (all of them) had so much fun. You'd think that they'd be scared going into some black hole, but nope, not them! Here is a picture of my niece Colleen with me and Colton. He was great the entire time!
Here are the kids looking up at Colleen's camera. That was too far of a drop for me to even look down...I'm so scared of heights!
And here is the rest of the group going into one of the many caves that we found. And to think this is practically in our back yard.
Next camping trip will be in Georgia again. Can't wait. T minus 6 weeks and counting!!

Recap
I have been busy since the last time I blogged. Morgan started swim lessons (she can swim already, I just want her to learn all the different types of strokes), fireworks came and gone, Sydney celebrated her 4th bday, we visited my SIL and family and the usual everyday things.
For Sydney's bday, she asked me to make her Dora cupcakes. Well, I'm no Ace of Cakes, so I just stuck with what was simple and comfortable...cupcakes!! Here are her Dora cupcakes she requested... We took these cupcakes to the park where the fireworks were being held. Since we aren't doing bdays for the girls for a while now, cupcakes at the park with her cousins was good enough. Zoe, Mallory and their cousin Kaitlyn were at the festivities (as they are every year) and we had to get a photo of the kids I was a little worried with the heat and Colton but surprisingly he did GREAT!! He stayed up to watch the fireworks and was so calm and watched the entire show! Here he is with the glow stick my niece gave him...she took an awesome picture too!And of course, a picture of one of the fireworks. I think I paid too much attention this year on taking really good pictures instead of enjoying the show.
The next day, Neal had to work so the girls and I went along for the ride, dropped him off and then headed to my SIL's house for a bit. The good thing is that we were staying over at their house and Neal worked near their house. We just enjoyed the day swimming...which Colt did awesome in...such a water baby! We also lit some fireworks, watched their neighbor waste hundreds and hundreds of dollars blowing into smoke from the fireworks! Andrea made Sydney some ice cream cone cupcakes and a mini cake for her. Here she is waiting for us to finish singing.
And here is a picture of the sparklers while playing around with my camera.
****My scrapbook message board is having a Guest Designer Team spot...actually spots...yep, 2 Guest DT members!!! Deadline is July 13th midnight ET!

Sugar Rush
This week was a fun week. The kids and I decided to tag along with Daddy and go down south to visit my SIL and nieces while he worked down in Brandon for two days. The girls had fun spending time with their cousins and Auntie.
Andrea had a great idea and made some "bug" cakes for the girls to decorate. Okay...so you can tell which kids have a mom that decorates cakes:
You can see how they hold their icing bags and the attention to detail.
Okay, so my kids are scrappers not cake decoraters. Judge for yourself...here is one of MY girls' finished product after playing...I mean decorating her cake: AGREE?? Oh, can't you hear the sugar rush right now?!
And after all the decorating I was able to snap a photo of all the kids together

Happy 4 months!
My little man is now 4 months old!! He went in for his doctor's appointment at the beginning of the week and I was a bit surprised that he didn't weigh more. He sure feels heavy. But I know a lot of that has to do with the fact that he's growing in lenght. Can you believe he grew 2.5" in 2 months? Talk about a big growth spurt. But I still think we have another "peanut" on our hands (like the both girls). Weighing in at 14 lbs and 13 oz and measuring 25.5" long is Colton... He's had cereal since the last post and LOVES it! I gave him carrots the other day and he liked those. I also gave him a taste of the apple baby food. He's definately developing into a happy, playful and smiley baby. I couldn't have asked for anything better!
Since the last blog...
*...we've had a surprise party for my mother-in-law. She was so surprised and I think the kids had fun hiding until it was time to come out and surprise her.
*...my parents coming over for a couple of days and the kids getting a ride on my dad's trike (including Colton w/ me on the back of it...we stayed in first gear and went 2 houses down)
*...getting my online scrap store up and items listed
*...enjoying the pool and the rainy weather (UGH!) and
*...going out to dinner at THE CAPITAL GRILL (Neal and me).
Not much else going on. Not much else planned for the next week. Laying low, saving gas! Till next time...

Meet Finley and one hungry little boy
This is Finley...our new pet. I know...I've said that I didn't want any more pets, but I couldn't resist yesterday. I dropped the girls off at dance camp and then off to do errands...one place was the pet store to get Simon some food. Colton was with me and I thought it would be neat to walk around the store with him and show him the animals. He liked the bunnies and the birds. And then there were the fish! He just watched them swim. So, I decided to get a Beta fish. I have no clue how to care for fish so I asked so many questions and got the most east to maintain fish there is. I surprised the girls when I picked them up from camp and Morgan asked if she could name it Finley. Sydney liked it too so that's his name. Now I wish I could keep him on my scrap desk. We'll see how it goes. Maybe Sydney and I will get one too. MAYBE!
And then last night at dinner, Colton was sitting with me (it was near bath time and he get's cranky around then) and we were just eating when he starts to lean forward towards my spoon! I thought it was weird. Then when I grabbed my cup he started in on that too! So, I thought, what the heck, let's try some rice cereal. Sat him in his bouncey seat, and fed him some cereal. The boy LOVED it!! He wouldn't let go of my hand so I could get more spoonfuls! When I pried my hand away from his grip he screamed! It was too funny. The girls were VERY excited that he is interested in food. They just want to feed him. It's not the same like feeding your babydolls! Here is a pix of him:
He'll be 4 months on Saturday and he has a doctor appointment on Monday. He's growing up too fast!!
